broken ice machine poor air conditioning
The staff were friendly and helpful when i asked for extra towels. I needed them.
The air conditioning barely worked, and it was hot in the room!!! i complained, but nothing changed . the ice machine on my floor was also broken. I had to go to another floor to get ice. This was super inconvenient and annoying.

broken remote useless remote
The gym was acceptable and had the equipment I needed.
I was not happy with the Classic Double Room. The TV remote did not work, and I was told it could not be fixed. The reception sent a remote for a different brand, useless (this was frustrating).

A Spa Treat!

relaxation area heated pool well equipped gym
The spa facilities were excellent and included in the cost. I particularly loved the relaxation area and heated pool. The gym was surprisingly well equipped, with various machines. It was easy to walk to the town centre from the hotel. The location is definitely a plus.
I found that the restaurant for dinner wasn't quite to my taste.

amazing dining local service
Alfred's Bar and Restaurant provided an amazing dining experience. I found the food very nice, and the proximity to local services. The staff in Alfred's were attentive, polite, and presentable. Toby and Nick were amazing on Friday 30th January.
The air conditioning controller was placed in a dark corner. It took time to work out how to set it properly.
